Complex with spicy pepper bouquet and ripe plum and berry fruit on the palate with a cigar box finish. More Bordeaux in style than any of our previous wines Pair with charcuterie, roast meets and especially lamb. Drinking well now but will only improve with time as the tannins integrate and soften.
This wine is barrel aged in French oak for 12 months, bottled in July 2014. It is a blend of 60% Cab Sauvignon and 40% Merlot from low yielding vines in Klaasvoogds. Less than 450 cases produced.
